To See That All Have Homes To stay (Watoto ni upendo kutoka kwa Mungu Baba wetu)

Welcome, here are pictures of some of the orphan children that this project supports.  These children range in ages from 1 to 14.

Take time with me to look into the beautiful faces of these children.  These children need help from individuals just like you who have caring hearts and are willing to give.

Please help contribute on a monthly basis toward the lives of these "deserving" children.  Through concerned individuals like yourself doors can be openned to these children that otherwise may not.  Four people committing to a monthly donation of $25.00 per month will provide housing, education, clothing, food and misc. and sundry needs for one child.

If a person wishes to help but feels they can't swing the entire monthly support for one child, please know that any amount is greatly appreciated and will help substantially toward the total support of that child.

Character: Josephat  is a happy little boy with a lovely smile - though he didn't show it very often when he first arrived!
He was initially shy and reserved, but he has now gained a lot of confidence and is much happier in his surroundings.
Like the other children, he loves to be outside and enjoys playing with water, dolls , timbers in the workshop and Livestock.
He eats well and has gained a good amount of weight since he arrived.

Clemencia Bonareri

Full Name: Clemencia Bonareri
Date of Birth:
Future Family:
Character: Clemencia Bonareri arrived as a very quiet child who refused to smile. Within days, however, she warmed the hearts of all who met her, with her adorable giggles and smiles. She is however, still very shy of strangers and needs a lot of time to warm to new people.
She is a great little eater and she has put on huge amounts of weight since she first arrived at MGCCH.
Background: Clemencia Bonareri came to MGCCH because her young 18 year old mother left her in the care of a sick, elderly grandmother. The Grandmother has 2 other older children to care for and had recently undergone extensive surgery so was unable to care for Clemencia Bonareri. We were initially confident that Clemencia Bonareri would return to her Grandmother once she had recovered from her illness; but it seems that she is sicker than we originally thought and this may not now be possible. We are looking into alternative foster care options for Clemencia Bonareri in the future.

Everlyne Sawe

Full Name: Everlyne Sawe
Date of Birth:
Future Family:
Character: Everlyne arrived looking relatively healthy - although very hungry. She devoured a meal very quickly and then had a bath which she didn't really enjoy! She has healthy skin and hair and is a very pretty little girl.
She was very quickly smiling and laughing and playing with the other children outside. We hope that her family will come looking for her - but if not, we will find a foster family for her in 6 months time.

Background: Everlyne was found alone on the streets in Kisii and was taken to a local police station. The Police walked her around the streets for a whole day trying to find someone who knew her. She spent the night at the police station before being taken to Social Welfare the next morning.
